I’m a bit addicted to taking photos actually...
I remember shooting four rolls of film on a school trip to Dunwich on the Suffolk coast one time. That's a lot of photos of coastal erosion not to mention an expensive processing bill (which i thankfully didn't have to pay for at the age of 7). My addiction to taking photographs eventually led me to me studying photography at university, before then working as a photography teacher and freelance photographer.
For as long as I can remember I've loved the storytelling aspect of photography, the ability to freeze the now and create a forever. This storytelling style is perfectly suited to lifestyle photography and it was this that first led to friends asking me to photograph their children, a privilege I have relished and subsequently made a career out of.
I now photograph families in Suffolk, Essex and Norfolk as well as locations around the UK.
I live in sunny (mostly) Suffolk with my husband and our two beautiful children.
I like sunny holidays, good coffee, baking, wintery walks and the occasional gin…. but then who doesn't?
Amidst the chaos of family life I like to spend weekends and free time taking photos and creating new memories with these three lovely loonies!
